A fascinating Tour Palermo Monreale that will allow you to admire artistic masterpieces of rare beauty.
We will go to Monreale, by car or minivan, to visit the Cathedral of Monreale a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its beautiful Byzantine mosaics that cover an area of 6.000 square meters. Then we will move to Palermo to see another UNESCO World Heritage site the Norman Palace an Arab-Norman jewel embellished by the beautiful Palatine Chapel.
The itinerary will continue along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, an ancient street of Palermo, overlooked by sumptuous palaces, churches and monasteries. You will visit important workshops including the puppeteer Vincenzo Argento’s workshop who makes hand-made puppets for Puppet Shows. During the tour you will visit the picturesque Ballarò market, famous market of Palermo, where you will be fascinated by the beauty of the vendors’ stalls displaying fruit, vegetables, meat and fish; an experience you will not forget! The tour will finish at Piazza Pretoria with its wonderful Mannerist fountain. The group will be accompanied at the hotel at the end of the tour.
